Selling Sirens play first show in Bellingham, WA
May, 7th 2010 Selling Sirens played their first show in Bellingham, WA after forming only two months earlier. The band consist of long time friends Guitarist Quinn Ramsey, Drummer Michael Brandt, Vocalist Colbey Schnelle and Bassist Dylan Sielicki. Upon entering the building for their performance the venue was impressively packed to the wall. After squeezing my way through the crowd I managed to find a good spot and sparked up conversation few of the audience members I quickly learned I was not the only one anticipating the first performance of the band. Right Off the Gate Selling Sirens came out with no mercy and instantly captured the audience. Three songs in and Selling Sirens had the whole building moving and by the end of the performance the crowd were chanting ENCORE!!!

CR Johnson you will be missed.
CR Johnson was a true pioneer at the sport of skiing. With incredible style and creativity CR Johnson made his mark in skiing undeniable. At Age with 15, he began pushing the envelope of skiing by landing the first ever 1440 (Thats four complete 360 degree rotations). That was just the beginning for this extraordinary individual. CR Johnson along with Tanner hall pioneered the way for Men's Halfpipe skiing through incredible runs that even left snowboarders moves wide open.
In 2005 CR Johnson battled a "career ending" brain injury and medical induced coma only to come back stronger than ever. Earning top podium finishes . Renowned parts in various skier Movies and even his own pro model skies from 4FRNT
However, The world of action sports suffered yet another tragic loss earlier this week, as a true inspiration, innovator and icon of the sport of skiing, CR Johnson, passed away while skiing at his home mountain of Squaw Valley, California. He was 26. According to reports, CR, who was wearing a helmet at the time, was skiing off a cliff on Light Towers and caught his edge on some exposed rocks in the take off, causing him to tumble and hit his head and neck on rocks in the landing. Ski patrol and medical staff arrived at the scene almost immediately and attempted to revive him, but despite their best efforts, CR left us much too soon.
CR Johnson was an inspiration. He was an innovator. He was an icon. But most of all, he was an amazing, kind and gentle human being, who loved every second of his life that has sadly ended way too soon, and our thoughts, prayers and deepest and sincerest condolences go out to his mother Loraine, his father Russ and his sister Kahlil during this difficult time.
