CR Johnson was a true pioneer at the sport of skiing. With incredible style and creativity CR Johnson made his mark in skiing undeniable. At Age with 15, he began pushing the envelope of skiing by landing the first ever 1440 (Thats four complete 360 degree rotations). That was just the beginning for this extraordinary individual. CR Johnson along with Tanner hall pioneered the way for Men's Halfpipe skiing through incredible runs that even left snowboarders moves wide open.
In 2005 CR Johnson battled a "career ending" brain injury and medical induced coma only to come back stronger than ever. Earning top podium finishes . Renowned parts in various skier Movies and even his own pro model skies from 4FRNT
However, The world of action sports suffered yet another tragic loss earlier this week, as a true inspiration, innovator and icon of the sport of skiing, CR Johnson, passed away while skiing at his home mountain of Squaw Valley, California. He was 26. According to reports, CR, who was wearing a helmet at the time, was skiing off a cliff on Light Towers and caught his edge on some exposed rocks in the take off, causing him to tumble and hit his head and neck on rocks in the landing. Ski patrol and medical staff arrived at the scene almost immediately and attempted to revive him, but despite their best efforts, CR left us much too soon.
CR Johnson was an inspiration. He was an innovator. He was an icon. But most of all, he was an amazing, kind and gentle human being, who loved every second of his life that has sadly ended way too soon, and our thoughts, prayers and deepest and sincerest condolences go out to his mother Loraine, his father Russ and his sister Kahlil during this difficult time.
CR Johnson you will be missed!!!

SCOTTY LAGO A SNOWBOARDER'S SNOWBOARDER!!!! WE SALUTE YOU!
If you ever got to the chance to met Scotty Lago you know he whats real about snowboarding and snowboarders. Always there for his FRENDS, a true supporter of the sport and all around good guy. Never one to shy from an autograph or from a good time. This guys got amazing style when he rides and truly is down to earth.
Apparently the IOC doesn't think so and gave Lago the boot on Friday. Do not believe the party line served by the United States Ski and Snowboard Association, nor the words of United States Olympic Committee spokesman Patrick Sandusky, who said: “Scotty left on his own accord. He wasn’t forced to leave.” Lago, the bronze medalist in halfpipe, was forced to leave, two sources close to him told Yahoo! Sports, and did so only to prevent an even greater escalation of a situation that already had been blown far out of proportion.
Once the photos of Lago surfaced on TMZ.com, the USSA, in an effort to avoid USOC intervention, came to him with two options, according to sources: go home quietly and play the necessary political game, or go through a trial process and risk getting formally ejected. Lago, not wanting to torpedo any future Olympic opportunities, chose to return toNew Hampshire instead of staying until the Closing Ceremony as planned, sources said.
Lago had tried to preemptively strike against repercussions. He issued an apology to the USSA on Friday morning when informed the pictures existed, sources said, in which he apologized for the lapse in judgment and said he was thankful for the opportunity to compete in the Olympics. It was not enough.
Lago got caught in the moment – and a compromising position. He hadn’t slept for 36 hours, TV appearances and media hits and all of the other Olympic duties calling. He fulfilled them, and with grace, honoring his friends Kevin Pearce andDanny Davis , both medal contenders before injuries left them unable to compete.
Lack of sleep is no excuse, of course. It happened. Lago owned up to it. And the USSA could have accepted the apology, broadcast it and let Lago move on. Only it didn’t, the power of the Olympic overlords forcing a rash decision.
SCOTTY WE SALUTE YOU!!!! YOU'RE EVERYTHING THAT'S RIGHT ABOUT SNOWBOARDING!!!

Props to snowboarder Terje Haakonsen for keeping it real for the IOC
Leave it to one of the most, if not the most, respected guy in the sport of snowboarding Mr. Terje Haakonsen for saying what everyone else is thinking!!! The most recent issue against the IOC is about JJ Thomas alot of people in the sport would say that JJ fully deserved that last spot on the team due to over all rankings and what not on the Snowboarding Grand Prix circuit. However that spot went to Greg Brettz who dont get me wrong had a stellar run in the last grand Prix but really probably only went there because the media loves a good love story!!! at least thats our opinion!!! But Greg dont hate us we stilll think you rip!!! But JJ Thomas just killed it this year!!!
Thanks Terje for your brutal honesty!!!!

What happen to indivuality in snowboarding?
Japanese snowboarder Kazuhiro Kokubo has been excluded from the opening ceremony of the Vancouver Winter Olympics for apologetically flouting the team dress code.
Seriously I though snowboarding was about individualism and about adding your won style to things. What does it matter how one dresses at least he was still wearing the uniform! To read the new article in entirety click the link below.

Tight vs baggy.... Who's cooler?
Nate Holland fights to keep snowboarding "core" and says toss those sissy emo pants!
Read Article!
Is wearing baggy pants really make you more "core" or does it really even matter? We say wear what you want. Hell, wear no pants let your riding ability talk for you!

Speak Peak!!!
The begining of a positive movement.... as told by the founder himself Mike Cerar
Since 2004 Reform has risen and has fallen and has risen and fallen well finally I decided the idea was going to be shelf not starting it until we had a solid foundation. Finally in 2006 I decided to really hold back on broadcasting it keeping the idea alive but dark in secrecy...
The time has come again THERE IS A MOVEMENT BREWING from sea to air, East coast to west coast! From your local surf spot to your local mountain. THE ACTION SPORTS OF TODAY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME... With progression at the helm and the athletes of tomorrow at the front line THE BOOK AT WHICH THE STANDARDS OF TODAY WERE WRITTEN WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!
WITH EVERY MOVEMENT, EVERY REVOLUTION,... THERE IS A MESSAGE... A CAUSE TO CONVEY, REFORM INDUSTRIES BRINGS THAT TO THE MASSES IN ONE NOT SO ORDINARY CLOTHING COMPANY!
